Qualifications

Role Description

The Adult Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment for adult patients in an outpatient setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, managing psychotropic medications, and providing psychotherapy as appropriate. The psychiatrist will collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care, and will utilize interventional modalities such as TMS and Spravato® when clinically indicated. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hinesville, GA, requiring active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings, documentation in the medical record, and adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Medicine and Psychiatry, with the ability to diagnose and treat a broad range of adult psychiatric conditions.
• Strong foundation in Mental Health and Behavioral Health, including experience in outpatient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completion of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Unrestricted Georgia medical license (or eligibility to obtain) and DEA registration.
• Experience or interest in interventional psychiatry treatments such as TMS and Spravato® is highly desirable. (Training provided onsite.)
• Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
