Job summary

Equanimity Integrated Behavioral Health & Wellness LLC in Baltimore, MD seeks a full-time supervisor with a Maryland license (or CPRP) to lead clinical teams and ensure high-quality care for adults with mental illness. You will coordinate care, oversee assessments, and facilitate groups across in-office and community settings.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, completing intakes, maintaining documentation in EHR, and traveling between program sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a Maryland-licensed mental health professional or have CPRP.
• Active CPRP or equivalent licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with clients with severe emotional/psychiatric problems.
• Computer, phone, and electronic health record proficiency required.
• Maryland driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Comfort meeting clients in home and community settings.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel between program sites and communities.

Responsibilities

• Complete Carelon authorizations and follow-up for approval.
• Plan and facilitate educational activity-based groups.
• Complete initial intakes and screenings in office and community.
• Develop Individual Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment plans.
• Provide care coordination to improve daily living skills and community integration.
• Track and manage documentation due dates and authorization timelines.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community providers.
• Review clinical documentation and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Attend and lead meetings with client treatment teams.
• Assist in training and supervision of direct service staff.
• Document in EHR: daily notes, assessments, monthly summaries.
• Perform case manager duties as needed and support annual trainings.

Job Requirements

Full-time. This is position reports to the Program Director. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant supervisory experience working with adults who have a mental illness diagnosis. Minimum three years’ experience working with adults with an SMI diagnosis (serious mental illness). Knowledge of COMAR regulations for PRP is mandatory.

• Valid professional license - LMSW, LGPC, LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT, CPRP
• Must pass state background check
• Work in the office at least 3 full days per week. The other 2 days may be worked remotely.
• Be able to work in person at all locations whenever needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete Carelon authorizations and ensure follow-up for approval.
• Plan and facilitate educational activity-based groups.
• Complete initial intakes and screenings in the office and within the community.
• Development of the Individual Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment plans.
• Provide care coordination that includes developing age-appropriate daily living skills, increasing community integration, and helping clients meet rehabilitation goals.
• Track and organize documentation and authorization due dates.
• Adequately communicate with internal and external program staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with other providers in the community
• Conduct internal and external chart reviews. Develop and complete improvement plans as needed.
• Review and sign off on all clinical documentation from PRP Counselors, which includes ensuring documentation is completed in a timely manner and that its content is of sufficient quality.
• Attend and lead meetings to collaborate with client treatment teams.
• Assist in training and supervision of direct service staff as instructed.
• Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record to include daily contact notes, assessments, and monthly summaries as required.
• Perform case manager duties for designated clients or on an interim basis as needed.
• Attend annual cultural competency and responsiveness trainings.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications
