Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year related experience in APS.
• Alternatively, 2 years experience at the APS Case Manager 2 level or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with vulnerable populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial investigations of protective service reports meeting APS criteria.
• Evaluates risk to clients and ensures safety.
• Provides follow-up and resources to stabilize situations.
• Initiates guardianship proceedings as a last resort.
• Maintains documentation and reports per standards.
• Participates in training and policy updates.
