Job summary

Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis is seeking new teaching artists for adult printmaking on weekends and weekday evenings. Open to various types of printmaking excluding screen printing and cyanotypes.

Teaching artists are 1099 contractors who may submit class proposals up to three times a year in advance of the upcoming class season. Proposals are reviewed by Teaching & Learning staff and scheduled based on space, subject matter, and observed demand.

Qualifications

• New teaching artists to fill gaps within current programming.
• Ability to work in weekends or weekday evenings.
• Experience with printmaking would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Submit class proposals up to three times a year in advance of the upcoming class season.
• Follow policies in the teaching artist handbook and classroom use guides.
• Proposals are approved and scheduled based on classroom space, subject matter, and observed demand.
