Job summary

Heart of Ohio Family Health seeks a physician to provide comprehensive medical care in acute and clinical settings, focusing on adults with a wide range of internal organ system issues. The role requires collaborating with the health care team, documenting care, and directing care plans in alignment with HIPAA and safety standards.

Applicants must be licensed in Ohio, board eligible or certified, and able to prescribe narcotics where allowed.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
• Board eligible or certified by a national board.
• Licensed in customary narcotics and controlled substances prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of the team providing care in accordance with HOFH’s mission and indigent care goals.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times and documents care per policy.
• Forms and directs patient care plans; refers to other providers as needed.
• Prescribes medications in line with Ohio law and coding rules.
• Coordinates patient education for health, maintenance, and wellbeing.
• Participates in rotation for evening and weekend coverage as required.
