Qualifications

• Certified Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner OR licensed Physician Assistant in Maryland.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• 2–5 years of primary care experience.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment and care planning.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluation and treatment of patients in assigned areas.
• Perform history and physical exam with documentation.
• Write orders per hospital policy and for pre-existing conditions.
• Collaborate with attending physician and staff to adjust treatment.
• Document progress notes and patient progress for care planning.
• Refer to appropriate services and document referrals; respond to acute conditions.
