Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 2–5 years of Primary Care experience to join the Medicine for Adults practice on GBMC's Towson campus in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Analytical ability to assess patients and plan appropriate interventions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Current Maryland registration as a Certified Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner or licensed Physician Assistant.
• CPR certification required and maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Initial evaluation and treatment of patients in assigned areas.
• Document history, examinations, orders and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to adjust care as needed.
• Coordinate referrals to ancillary services and community resources.
• Document progress and ensure documentation meets hospital policy.
