Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc is seeking a Clinical Therapist to join a tight-knit team in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves conducting assessments, providing individual, group and family counseling, and linking patients to referrals and advocacy services.

The therapist will ensure documentation compliance and collaborate with the treatment team to monitor patient progress. The successful candidate will hold state licensure in Social Work or Psychology-related discipline, possess 1–2

Qualifications

• Current state licensure in an accredited Master’s level program in Social Work, limited license Psychologist or Professional Counseling.
• 1–2 years of postgraduate clinical experience.
• Annual continuing education per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment, counseling, treatment planning and referrals.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Maintains accurate medical record documentation.
• Provides crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
• Participates in departmental and staff meetings and training.
• May supervise interns and provide clinical supervision as assigned.

Education

MSW License or LPC/LP
