Job summary

The Glenview Park District seeks Adult League Site Supervisors for its upcoming sports season. If you love sports and can communicate clearly, this on-site role is for you.

You will arrive early to set up equipment, enforce rules, communicate with game officials and emergency services, remain on-site during games, and ensure gear is put away afterwards. Training is provided and dependable attendance is expected. Positions vary with weeknights and Saturdays; starting pay is $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants must be at least 16 years old with a strong knowledge of sports.
• Training will be provided.
• Applicants must be mature and confident, while being able to communicate with adult players or parents.
• Must possess a high level of commitment and responsibility, while demonstrating regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Arriving first on site at each game to set up equipment.
• Enforcing game rules while supporting game officials.
• Communicating with Emergency Services should an emergency arise on site.
• Remaining on-site during games for troubleshooting and supervisory responsibilities.
• Ensuring that the equipment is correctly put away at the end of the program.
• Providing feedback and escalating issues to direct supervisor.
