About the role

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding three (3) Adult Psychiatrists to the Inpatient Unit at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Behavioral Health Center offers comprehensive mental health services, including First Episode Psychosis program, medical services, opioid treatment, substance use disorder services, specialized units for people with Intellectual Disabilities, inpatient Extended Care focusing on homeless patients, ketamine-assisted therapy, and inpatient/outpatient services for adults and children.

Our team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, internists, nurses, social workers, creative arts therapists, peer and addiction counselors, delivering compassionate, respectful care. We provide educational resources to patients and caregivers, and services range from psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to specialized programs like outpatient withdrawal management, medication maintenance, overdose prevention, and support for personal development goals.

The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, supporting teaching and research.
