Attending Psychiatrist - Adult Inpatient Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine offers an outstanding opportunity for an Attending Psychiatrist in our adult inpatient psychiatry unit. The successful candidate will provide clinical treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate, patient-centered, equitable care. Responsibilities include supervising and training 3rd and 4th year medical students and Psychiatry residents, and contributing to a collegial and supportive department committed to career and academic development, physician and family wellness, diversity and inclusion, and excellence in patient care and medical education.

Mentorship and research opportunities are available. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package. A faculty appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is available based on qualifications. There are opportunities to participate in faculty practice and optional evening and weekend coverage at our three Bronx hospitals for additional experience and compensation.

Eligible applicants will be Board Eligible or Certified in Psychiatry.

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $265,000 to $300,000, there are opportunities for increased income through call responsibilities and productivity incentives. Benefits include LTD, STD, paid malpractice insurance, health, dental, vision, and a 403(b) retirement plan.
