Job summary

Reports to the chair and works on the Little Rock campus. The position centers on teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activity, with service to the college and profession.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing.
• Current, unencumbered Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license as AGAC Practitioner.
• Two+ years of teaching experience in a graduate nursing program.
• Experience with simulation-based learning.
• Familiarity with a concept-based curriculum.
• Eligible for advanced practice nursing licensure in Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching and mentorship within the College of Nursing’s graduate program, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in research and scholarly activities that support the College of Nursing’s graduate program.
• Contribute to service and professional practice activities within the College of Nursing and the broader academic community.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
