EASTCONN Adult & Community Programs - Community Learning Center in Windham, CT is seeking an English Language Learner (ELL) teacher for adults. Classes meet Monday and Wednesday evenings, 5:30–8:00 PM, across multiple levels.

Job Description

Whether it’s high school completion, job training, Englishlanguage instruction, or parenting support, our Adult & Community Programs are designed to help all adult residents develop new, lifelong skills, expand options, and reach new goals.

We are currently recruiting for a part time English Language Learner Teacherfor adultsat EASTCONN's Windham Community Learning Center location (Tyler Square). Multi-levelevening classes will meet on Monday and Wednesday 5:30 - 8.The successful candidatewill preferably have prior experience teaching ELL in Adult Education programs and be well versed in multicultural and differentiated learning.

Experience working in a technology-rich classroom setting preferred.He/she must be able to engage the students in meaningful instruction, developing personalized, high-interest lessons. Bachelor's degree required, as well asCT Adult Education ESL certified or certifiable (# 088 endorsement).

Flexibility to work at multiple sites preferred.
