Su Casa Family Ministries in Memphis, TN is seeking an Adult Education Program Manager to oversee ESL classes, childcare support, and family services. The role emphasizes building relationships with participants, volunteers, and local churches while expanding programming to meet community needs.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, experienced in cross-cultural nonprofit work, and able to manage budgeting, recording, and events with a Gospel-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with Latino immigrant community in Memphis preferred.
• Cross-cultural, nonprofit, or ministry settings preferred.
• Experience in canvassing, recruiting or tabling at events, or community outreach preferred.
• Mature Christian leader who leads by example and connects staff, volunteers, and community.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; public speaking in both languages.
• Strong networking and outreach orientation with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent computer, organization, administration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer teachers.
• Recruiting and supporting adult students.
• Developing gospel-centered relationships with students, volunteers, and churches to create pipelines for more students and volunteers.
• Identifying needs and improving program offerings based on community feedback.
• Overseeing legal service appointments, tax preparation events, and community drives.
• Connect participants with local churches and community resources.
• Manage program budget and ensure aligned resource use.
• Maintain accurate records and present progress data throughout the year.
• Communicate clearly with supervisor and stakeholders.
• Support Su Casa events and mission, including faith statement.
