Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree in human service related field (such as Therapeutic Recreation, Social Work, Psychology or related area).
• Physical ability to lift and transfer adults (minimum of 25 pounds).
• Experience and/or training working with adults who have severe and multiple disabilities.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
• Ability to verbally communicate with clients in the program.

Responsibilities

• Instruct in all program activities and develop/implement goals and objectives for client areas.
• Maintain timely, accurate, organized records of client progress and analyze data.
• Communicate with service coordinators regarding client issues or concerns.
• Assist with personal cares (toileting, feeding, dressing, showering).
• Participate in activity planning and coordinate supplemental activities in the Adult Day Service Program.
