Job summary

Right at Home North Phoenix / Scottsdale is currently hiring compassionate Caregivers and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in the Phoenix area. Join a well-established organization with over 25 years of experience committed to essential in-home care.

You will perform personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance while prioritizing safety and dignity. PPE, paid training, weekly pay, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• Negative TB test or willing to obtain one after hire.
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving client within the home.
• Perform housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with range of motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care.
• Offer companionship through activities like reading or music.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Possess a negative TB test or be able to acquire one upon being hired
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
