Job summary

Pixalate is seeking a Forward Development Engineer in New York to bridge our platform with diverse client environments. You will serve as the technical anchor for sales, architecting product configurations, and driving trial conversions and revenue across data feeds, analytics, and compliance domains.

The role combines deep technical work with client-facing responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Engineering, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience in the digital advertising ecosystem is required.
• Knowledge of programmatic advertising, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Servers, CTV, and IVT concepts.
• Experience at an adtech or related measurement company is preferred.
• Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, and system architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for your assigned product on every sales call.
• Validate technical feasibility, answer architectural questions, and remove blockers.
• Ensure clients feel technically confident moving forward with deals.
• Partner with CS to define deliverables and KPIs for SOW development.
• Own a specific product line as its deep SME in the field.
• Manage the technical roadmap for your product within each sales opportunity.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers for multi-product integrations.
• Provide outside-in PRD feedback to Core Engineering.
• Own technical accountability for your product line within accounts.
• Work with SE Integration Team to ensure complete client integration.
• Maintain engagement until the product is live and delivering value.
• Use Pixalate AI Agents and internal tools to resolve CS tickets.
• Translate client problems into Pixalate configurations and map data fields.
• Build custom reports, feeds, and APIs for client workflows.
• Author Use Case Documents for engagements and define the Definition of Done.
• Schedule reports for clients where IVT% > 5.
• Mitigate churn by verifying data aligns with Use Cases.
• Facilitate handoff to Customer Success after contract signing.
