Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician in Redlands, CA to maintain, diagnose, and repair our trailer fleet for safe, efficient transportation operations.

The role requires 2+ years of trailer maintenance experience, knowledge of air brakes and electrical systems, and the ability to use diagnostic tools. CDL is preferred but not required; welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in trailer maintenance and repair preferred.
• Strong knowledge of air brake systems, electrical systems, and trailer components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of trailers to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations.

This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
