Job summary

Step Up Rehab, LLC seeks a Medical Review Coordinator to assemble ADR/Appeal documentation, coordinate with Clinical Appeals and Quality Improvement, and liaise with facility staff for payer requests.

You will manage MS Office tasks, track outcomes, and support a collaborative team across Florida facilities. The role requires travel quarterly and a professional, detail-oriented approach to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• No specific degree required; understanding medical documentation preferred.
• Proficiency in time management, organizational skills and computer skills.
• Thorough understanding of ADR packets, payer guidelines and requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; EMR familiarity helpful.
• Willingness to travel quarterly for training or meetings.
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Pull necessary documents from Net Health, PCC and facility records for ADR/Appeal packets.
• Coordinate with Clinical Appeals and QA Manager to obtain documentation from facility staff.
• Attend weekly virtual meetings with the medical review team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Work an eight-hour day with unpaid lunch; sustain activity for up to four hours at a time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
