Job summary

UCSF Health seeks a developmental psychologist to perform psychological and neuro-psychological testing for children ages 0–18 within the MDAC developmental pediatrics program at San Francisco General Hospital. Focus will be on ages 0–5, with opportunities to lecture and supervise trainees.

The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive assessments and reports, interpreting data, and guiding referrals.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in clinical psychology and one year of post-doctoral experience or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of psychological assessments for children.
• Spanish-speaking preferred
• 1–3 years of experience with children under age 6
• Experience with autism spectrum disorders and multidisciplinary settings
• Experience with IFSP, IEP, and Transitional Planning
• Licensed by the California Board of Psychology per CA requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform psychological and neuro-psychological testing on children ages 0–18 in the developmental pediatrics program.
• Contribute to a multi-disciplinary developmental assessment team and integrate test results into reports.
• Provide teaching and supervision of psychological trainees; deliver lectures to medical residents.
• Prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations and referrals.
• Interpret clinical data and contribute to treatment plans following evidence-based approaches.
