Job summary

The University of California San Francisco’s Children’s Health Center in San Francisco seeks a child psychologist to perform psychological and neuro-psychological testing for ages 0-18, with focus on ages 0-5, within the MDAC developmental assessment team. This essential role supports comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based recommendations.

The psychologist will also provide teaching (1 lecture per quarter) to medical residents, supervise trainees, and collaborate across subspecialty teams

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology and post-doctoral experience in clinical psychology.
• Experience with psychological assessments for children.
• Spanish-speaking abilities or proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychological and neuro-psychological testing on children as part of the MDAC developmental assessment team.
• Contribute to comprehensive evaluations and the final report with recommendations.
• Provide didactic lectures to and supervision of psychology trainees; teach one lecture per quarter to medical residents.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to inform treatment planning and referrals, including IFSP/IEP considerations.
