Responsibilities

• Participation in the Regional Response Team, delivering brief, home-based intensive family stabilization services for adoptive and guardianship families.
• Provide a strengths-based psycho-social assessment of the family’s needs and resources.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet regional demands.
• Advocate and coordinate access to long-term supportive services for families.
• Offer information and referrals to families and professionals as needed.
• Design and implement support groups for diverse adoptive families.
• Develop a network of respite providers and coordinate resources within the region.
• Provide training and consultation to providers and professionals in mental health and human services.
