Monitor animal health and behavior, assist with daily husbandry tasks, and promote responsible pet ownership, all while supporting SPCA Cincinnati’s mission to reduce pet homelessness and improve animal welfare throughout the community.

Adoption Specialists also play an important role in creating a positive volunteer experience by welcoming volunteers, providing guidance and support, answering questions, and fostering a collaborative environment where volunteers feel valued and appreciated. Through positive interactions and clear communication, Adoption Specialists help ensure volunteers have a meaningful experience while supporting the care and enrichment of the animals.
