Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Foster Care Adoption Case Manager to provide case management, attend court hearings, maintain records, and collaborate with attorneys, therapists, and CASA workers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Social Science or related field, at least one year of case management experience, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Human Services, Behavioral Sciences, or related field from an accredited college.
• At least one year of prior case management experience in child and family services.
• Must have knowledge of human services concepts and state resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to children in foster care.
• Attend and testify at court hearings, as necessary.
• Maintain current and accurate client records, case files, and notes.
• Coordinate and facilitate treatment plans with providers and foster parents.
• Investigation of child abuse and ensuring safety of the child.
• Participate in on-call system and schedule as needed.
