Job summary

STI seeks an Eligibility Specialist in Indianapolis, onsite, for a 3-12+ month assignment within the Department of Child Services Central Eligibility Unit. The role involves handling multiple adoption eligibility tasks, reviewing reports, and preparing packets.

You will interact with adoptive parents, review files for completion, and ensure compliance with federal and state policies. Effective communication is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to review and process eligibility-related documents.

• Familiarity with federal and state policies governing eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Review and process status reports and adoption eligibility tasks.
• Prepare NRAE packets and adoption finalization packets as needed.
• Answer inquiries from adoptive parents regarding case status.
• Ensure activities comply with applicable federal and state policies and procedures.
• Determine Title IV-E eligibility based on regulations and policies.
• Interpret and analyze fiscal data to support funding recoveries.
• Coordinate with Family Case Managers and supervisors for information as needed.
