A leading senior living community is seeking a Health and Wellness Coordinator/ADON to manage healthcare operations and supervise staff. This role requires an LPN or LVN license and offers opportunities for leadership and professional growth. Ideal candidates are passionate about providing quality care and supporting residents' needs.
Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, and maintains quality care as residents' healthcare needs evolve. Ensures consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, which may require assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
Assists in supervising licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education through classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manages staff schedules and oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration, including conducting periodic medication skills inventories and audits per Brookdale guidelines.
Shares on-call duties as required. Education required to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience. Must hold an LPN or LVN license.
