Job description

ADON - Wellness Coordinator (Finance)

Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and maintains quality care as residents' healthcare needs change. Ensures consistent quality resident care and service delivery throughout all shifts; this may require assuming the roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.

Assists in supervising community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers. Provides ongoing training and education to Caregivers, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manages staff schedules.

Oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration. Conducts periodic medication skills inventory checks and medication audits following Brookdale Guidelines. Shares on-call duties as required.

Educational requirements include a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and 1-2 years of relevant experience. An LPN or LVN license is required.
