Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in the Penn Yan, NY region. The ADON reports to the DON and develops clinical and operational systems to achieve outstanding resident outcomes and regulatory compliance.

This is a full-time role requiring 4+ years in LTC leadership, a BSN, and a current NY RN license. The position emphasizes quality improvement, budgeting support, and 24-hour accountability for the unit.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of managerial experience in LTC with leadership in nursing.
• 2+ years of nursing experience with leadership in Long-Term Care.
• Knowledge of NYSDOH regulations and survey processes.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current NYS RN license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility’s Performance Improvement Program ensuring regulatory standards.
• Oversee PRI and MDS processes to maximize reimbursement.
• Represent Nursing on the LTC Safety Committee and coordinate safety initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee the LTC attendance procedure process.
• Provide daily supervisory oversight of nursing staff and clinical operations.
• Participate in recruitment and interview process for CNA candidates.
