Job summary

Prestige Care Center of Plattsmouth in Nebraska seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing services with compassion and strong leadership. The RN license, nursing degree, and 3+ years of supervisory experience are required.

You will assist in planning, directing, and evaluating daily operations, ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, participate in QAPI activities, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver quality resident care.

Qualifications

• RN license in practicing state
• Nursing degree from accredited college/university
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of long-term care laws, regulations and guidelines

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing day-to-day operations of Nursing Services in accordance with laws and regulations
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practices
• Participate in admission decisions as indicated
• Attend management meetings to discuss census changes and resident status
• Assist in evaluating staff performance and apply disciplinary policies
• Participate in QAPI or quality improvement activities as needed
• Facilitate committees and participate in facility operations
• Ensure delivery of compassionate, quality care with adequate staffing and resident well-being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, consultants, and community agencies to improve services
