Job summary
Champion City Nursing & Rehabilitation in Pittsburgh seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing team and ensure high-quality care. The role focuses on clinical excellence, leadership, and teamwork, with oversight of day‑to‑day nursing operations.
The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in strategic planning, policy development, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, while fostering positive patient and family relationships and driving ongoing quality improvements.
Qualifications
- RN licensed in Pennsylvania with strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience leading nursing teams and overseeing regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and related healthcare tech.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team to uphold excellence.
- Develop and implement quality care standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with Director of Nursing on strategic plans and goals.
- Assist in nursing department budget planning and resource management.
- Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
