Job summary

Lake City Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nursing leader looking to grow and advance toward a DON role.

Empire Care Centers supports from within and oversees 24 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting.
• Strong team orientation and communication skills.
• Infection Prevention experience preferred.
• Experience training and educating staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care.
• Implement specialized clinical procedures and programs.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies and state and federal regulations.
• Deliver safe, efficient, and compliant resident care.
• Participate in the nursing home survey process.
• Oversee infection control and quality assurance initiatives.
• Supervise, mentor, and train nursing staff.
• Organize and support in-service education and training programs.
