Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead staffing, quality care, and regulatory compliance in a demanding long-term care setting.

The ADON will oversee clinical staff, coordinate MDS and care planning, and drive infection control initiatives while maintaining accurate resident documentation and budgets. This leadership role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, teams, and consultants to deliver restorative care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs by stepping in to assist floor staffing.
• Oversee resident care: contribute to MDS, care planning, performance improvement, and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation by reviewing and maintaining resident records.
• Develop care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams.
• Support staff resources by ensuring timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold infection control through assessments and implementing measures.
