Job summary

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
Minimum three years of nursing experience in a similar resident population.
At least one year of management experience.
CPR certification and thorough knowledge of regulations governing nursing homes.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and staff.
Support achievement of nursing department goals and educational programs.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff according to staffing plans.
Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
Develop, implement, and monitor documentation systems.
Provide direct resident care when needed and engage with residents and families.
