Role compensation will be determined based on skills and experience. The position is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Veterans, transitioning active duty military personnel, and military spouses are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as needs change.
- Ensure consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; may include assuming roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet staffing and resident needs.
- Supervise licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manage staff schedules.
- Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration. Conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale guidelines.
- Share on-call duties as required.
- Obtain education to meet state licensing requirements (LPN/LVN or RN) with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Hold an active LPN or LVN license.
