Brookdale Wooster is hiring a Health and Wellness Coordinator/ADON! A Senior Living Community with Assisted Living. Make Lives Better Including Your Own!

Qualifications:
  • RN or LPN Required
  • Flexible Schedule Required
  • This position is similar to an Assistant Director of Nursing, so if you love leadership and managing a team, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met.
  • Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and that quality care is provided as their healthcare needs change.
  • Maintain consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, potentially assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet staffing needs.
  • Supervise licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manage staff schedules.
  • Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration. Conduct periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
  • Share on-call duties as required.
  • Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
  • LPN or LVN license.
