A leading senior living community in Forest Grove is seeking a healthcare manager to oversee daily operations and ensure quality care for residents. The ideal candidate will have a valid nursing license and relevant experience, along with strong leadership skills. Description
Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity, providing quality care as their healthcare needs change. Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; this may require assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
Assists in supervising community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manages staff schedules and oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration in the community. Conducts periodic medication skills inventories and audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
Shares on-call duties as required. Education must meet state licensing requirements (LPN/LVN or RN) with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience. Valid LPN or LVN license required.
