A leading senior living community is seeking a healthcare manager to oversee daily operations and ensure quality care for residents. The role involves supervising nursing staff, managing medication protocols, and providing training. Candidates must hold a valid nursing license and have relevant experience. Description
Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and provides quality care as residents' healthcare needs change. Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts, which may include assuming roles such as Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
Assists in supervising community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education through classroom in-services and situation-specific training. Manages staff schedules and oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration, conducting periodic medication skills inventory checks and audits per Brookdale guidelines.
Shares on-call duties as required. Education requirements include a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience. Must hold an LPN or LVN license.

Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. The role is eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the 401(k) program.
