Qualifications

Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Extensive nursing knowledge and familiarity with healthcare laws.
Strong written communication for reports and evaluations.

Time management and multitasking to complete many tasks.

Responsibilities

Hiring new nurses and overseeing onboarding.
Creating schedules to ensure adequate nursing coverage for every shift.
Coaching nurses to improve performance and handling discipline issues.
Monitoring expenses to ensure the facility operates within budgetary constraints.
Holding staff meetings to discuss patient status.
Conducting employee evaluations that identify nurses’ strengths and areas of improvement.
Making rounds to assess patient status and observe nurses.
