Job summary

Arbor Springs, a Montessori-Inspired Living® community in Des Moines, IA, seeks an RN supervisor to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the nursing team and ensuring high-quality resident care.

The role requires state licensure as an RN, a positive attitude toward elderly residents, and the ability to supervise and instruct others while maintaining compliance with federal, state and local standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and meet licensure requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must supervise and instruct others.
• Must read and write in a legible and understandable manner.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other healthcare related facility.
• Knowledge of general rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day to day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards.
• Ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff to maintain a positive environment and patient dignity.
• Support Montessori principles and Lifestyle Pledge in daily operations.

General Purpose
