Job summary

Batavia Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. You will work with the Director of Nursing to lead the nursing staff and ensure the highest standards of resident care.

The ideal candidate holds a New York State RN license, has at least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care, and is committed to quality, compliance, and staff development in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• New York State RN license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care settings, preferably as a Unit Manager or RN Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and resident satisfaction
• Collaborate with the DON to develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure staff adherence to standards of care and resident needs are being met
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
• Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff
