Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Therapeutic Assistant II to provide patient care under limited supervision on an adolescent inpatient unit. You will orient new care team members, conduct group activities, document care in the EMR, and support unit improvement initiatives in collaboration with registered nurses and the Nurse Manager.

The role requires BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire and de-escalation training updates; 75% staff meeting attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human_Services or related field, or high school diploma with 1 year of experience in behavioral health or related healthcare.
• BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire; current AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• De-escalation training within orientation period and annually thereafter; BI-ANNUALLY for BLS.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care as directed by a multi-disciplinary treatment program.
• Orient new care team members and assist unit leaders as needed.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record and record vital signs and meal percentages.
• Attend 75% of unit staff meetings.
• Assist with unit project improvement initiatives.
