Job summary

CHOR YFS in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide intensive therapeutic services for adolescent males in a residential treatment setting, delivering individual and group therapy.

You'll develop treatment plans, document in an EHR, collaborate with probation officers and treatment team, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Experience working with adolescents preferred.
• Clinical licensure preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly individual therapy for an assigned caseload of approximately six clients.
• Facilitate and co-facilitate therapeutic groups.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress.
• Provide clinical supervision while ensuring compliance with BARJ principles and best practices.
• Complete treatment plans, clinical notes, and documentation using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Conduct quarterly risk assessments, functional assessments, and PREA vulnerability assessments.
• Complete managed care documentation, utilization reviews, and authorization packets.
• Maintain communication with juvenile probation officers, caseworkers, and treatment team members.
• Prepare court reports and attend hearings as needed.
• Provide testimony regarding client progress and treatment recommendations.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation several times each year.
• Support the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
