Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and RN license in Indiana
• Within 5 years of employment as an RN, obtain a BSN or certification in your area of specialty

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively perform high-risk, high-frequency clinical procedures in accordance with standards.
• Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity, resources, patient preferences, and departmental needs.
• Identify and respond to physical or emotional health risks, initiating corrective actions.
• Maintain accountability for clinical decisions using evidence-based practices and protocols.
• Seek supervision or resources to ensure safe care and collaborate on complex issues.
• Develop, revise, and evaluate individualized care plans reflecting patient goals and needs.
• Ensure continuity of care through interventions and plan modifications based on effectiveness.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes within guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team to achieve positive outcomes and satisfaction.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for outcomes.

Education
