Red River Youth Academy in Norman, Oklahoma seeks an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical care to adolescents in our residential program. Under the Medical Director, you will perform evaluations, intake assessments, and follow-up care to ensure continuity from admission to discharge.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain EMR documentation, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• MSN/APRN or equivalent licensed under Oklahoma.
• Experience with adolescent psychiatric care; residential or outpatient setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards, EMRs, patient confidentiality laws.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and history/physical assessments for all patients.
• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate weekly with Medical Director to review treatment plans and program integrity.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
• Work closely with therapists, physicians, and allied staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Comply with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and JCAHO regulations.
