Ascension Health in Appleton, Wisconsin, seeks a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join St. Elizabeth’s Hospital on a PRN as-needed schedule (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) in a busy inpatient behavioral health unit for adolescents.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, perform assessments and treatment planning, order tests, coordinate referrals, and document care in a nonprofit health system that serves a regional population.

Qualifikationen

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
• BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Drug Enforcement Administration credentialed from the DEA preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 24/7 nursing, MDs, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, and Education Specialists.
• Provide care on a 17-bed inpatient behavioral health unit serving adolescents (ages 5–18), with acute crisis stabilization.
• Support the Partial Hospitalization Program.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, educate patients and families, coordinate referrals and community resources, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
