Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adolescent patients with behavioral health needs. The RN will monitor patients, administer medications, support treatment plans, and collaborate with the behavioral health team.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, de-escalation, and education for patients and families, within a safe therapeutic environment and comprehensive mental health care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Previous psychiatric, behavioral health, or adolescent care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-management skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adolescents.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and behavioral health practices preferred.
