Job summary

Michigan Medicine is expanding the Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program (CAPHP) and seeks two full-time MSW professionals. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering intensive mental health care to youth aged 12–17, with group, individual, and family interventions.

These positions are based at the Ypsilanti Health Center with a typical Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., contributing to a world-class academic health system committed to evidence-based

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Current LMSW or LLMSW license in Michigan.
• 1–2 years of experience in acute mental health care settings.
• 1–2 years of pediatric population experience.
• Crisis management, suicide risk assessment, safety planning, and lethal means counseling.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily multidisciplinary team meetings and case presentations.
• Facilitate group therapy, skills-based groups (DBT/CBT) and educational groups.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments with youth and caregivers.
• Provide daily caregiver support and psychoeducation.
• Deliver individual and family therapy interventions.
• Coordinate safety planning and lethal means counseling when needed.
• Manage discharge planning and transitions across care levels.
• Maintain accurate EMR records and contribute to department reporting.
