Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health – Vienna is seeking licensed or provisionally licensed therapists to join our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adolescents aged 12–17 and their families. On-site position in Vienna, VA with a structured schedule.

Responsibilities include managing a small caseload, delivering individual, family, and group therapy using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Virginia licensure or eligibility for LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT (Associate/Provisional) or LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT (Fully Licensed).

Responsibilities

• Personalized Caseloads: Manage a small caseload of up to eight to ten clients, providing high-quality, individualized care with a commitment to family programming and parent coaching.
• Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy: Conduct therapy sessions that integrate trauma-informed care and systemic approaches to create meaningful change in families.
• Develop comprehensive discharge plans for students, ensuring thorough review with both students and their family members.
• Maintain compliance with treatment standards through meticulous and timely documentation of notes and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standard requirements.
• Client-Centered Approach: Provide client-centered care, tailoring therapy to meet individual, group, & family therapy needs.
• Cultural Competency: Apply developmentally appropriate and culturally competent care, addressing the unique psychological needs of each client.
