Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts at Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II for Adolescent Services on the 1st Shift to oversee inpatient nursing care and medication administration for adolescents up to the scope of practice.

The role requires at least one year of RN experience, MA licensure, and a commitment to high standards of care. The unit offers 6:45 AM–3:15 PM shifts on Unit E1 or E2 with rotating weeks and mandatory overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Minimum one year of RN experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical facility.
• Recent graduates may have applicable substitution options and must have started RN licensure process.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates in nursing care of adolescent patients on an inpatient unit.
• Transcribes, administers, and supervises medication administration according to standards.
• Maintains nursing care plans, assessments, and documentation and participates in treatment planning.
