Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health in New Hampshire is seeking a Pediatric/Inpatient Adolescent Mental Health RN for a part-time 24-hour weekly position. The role supports adolescent patients aged 12 to 17 with a 7a–7p and 7p–7a rotation across all days, including weekends and holidays.

The Clinical Nurse will provide evidence-based, autonomous nursing care with a focus on safety and family-centered practice, guided by ANA ethics and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Licensed RN with NH eligibility and BLS certification are required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous nursing care using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient status with critical thinking and escalate to the care team as needed.
• Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics to advocate for patients and support informed decision-making by patients and families.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in governance and quality improvement activities.
• Assume accountability for nursing care while delegating activities to team members as appropriate.
